An arch, as a whole circle, forming an opening in a wall mainly for a small circular window but also, in industrial buildings, for the passage of large ducts. Built in two parts; the lower arch is set in an inverted opening and the upper arch is turned over a centre. May be built as a Rough; Axed, or Gauged Arch.
