Usually a 1B. boundary wall; the wall, on plan, is built with large radii segmental curves that are set alternately on either side of the centre line to create a wall of serpentine like curves. These curves impart stability to quite high walls, without the use of piers, and are pleasing in appearance. Found mainly in East Anglia.
