The vertical line of a Stopped-End in a wall to for door or window openings. Openings can be formed by building in the frames, as the work proceeds, but hard-wood frames are left for fixing until the brickwork has been completed. Reveals are normally square but for good quality work may be rebated for the fixing of heavy frames.
