The Charitable Trust enables grants to be made to several causes with particular emphasis on connections to:

  • The City of London and the surrounding areas
  • Activities involving young people
  • The crafts of wall and floor tiling, roof tiling and bricklaying
  • Our associated Regiment, the Corps of Royal Engineers
  • Our affiliated Royal Navy ship, HMS Magpie

Grants are made by the Trustees either on a one-off, annual basis or over a three year period.

 

During their year in office the Master will traditionally nominate a charity to receive a grant.

 

The Master and Trustees may make visits to one of the supported charities.
